Senior Director of Finance 

Under the direction of the Partners, the Senior Director of Finance is responsible for the financial transactions of the company, both incoming and outgoing and is responsible for the accuracy of the firm’s accounting system and all entries therein. This position also maintains the primary responsibility for the administration of payroll and the firm’s 401K. The Senior Director of Finance supervises the Finance and Accounting Specialist, the Billing Specialist, and the Senior Client Service Representative and ensures that all billing occurs in a timely basis including monitoring accounts receivable and overseeing collections. The position creates, monitors and adjusts all financial processes and monitors all payments. This position is responsible for working with the Partners to manage the budget and cash flow, create and adjust the firm’s budget, and is close the books each month and creating all financial statements monthly.

Prompt and accurate financial reports and proactive financial management are imperative. This position also maintains and oversees the relationship with the firm’s banks and insurance companies (and is responsible for maintaining correct levels of insurance). Overall this position is responsible for maintaining the strong payment history and accurate billing of the firm as well as ensuring accurate financial reporting to help ensure the success of the firm.

This position requires excellent communication and financial accounting skills and the ability to create, monitor and maintain processes that ensure accurate and complete billing as reflected in the financial statements. Dependability and reliability to Partners, finance and accounting staff, Leadership Team and all other staff is required. Detailed knowledge of and depth of experience in QuickBooks (Enterprise), Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office products are imperative. The Finance Manager must have strong organization stills, be prompt and responsive, discreet with confidential matters, and have excellent attention to detail. Business management experience (minimum eight years) and general knowledge of accounting are imperative. Supervision experience is required and experience working in a team environment. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management or other relevant field required, equivalent experience will be considered. The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
