As Chief Operating Officer, Erin is responsible for the company’s operations infrastructure, including Finance & Accounting, Payroll and Benefits Administration, technology, systems, and lease management. Erin has achieved notable recognition in leadership roles over an impressive career building and leading top-performing, efficient and cost-effective operations for several large companies before she joined Lautman 6 years ago.

Erin has built out departments covering full suite Finance, Accounting, Payroll and Systems. Under her leadership, Lautman has streamlined policies and processes, invested in new systems and re-engineered various other tools and workflows. These improvements increased the company’s efficiency, reduced overhead expense, and have made Lautman staff’s daily life easier.

Erin graduated cum laude from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and holds a Masters in Spanish Linguistics from Penn State. She is a multifaceted professional and polyglot, known for her strong background in bridging finance, operations, and foreign languages to open needed dialogue regarding diversity and inclusion in historically one-dimensional professions.

Erin serves on the leadership council of the Inclusion Allies Coalition (IAC), a coalition of organizations and practitioners committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. IAC provides resources, advocacy, networking, and webinars for dialogues across differences to promote inclusion.

Outside of Lautman, you can find Erin participating monthly in outreach events with non-profit organizations, such as Capital Area Food Bank, DC Central Kitchen and SheRises. – supporting local communities dealing with food insecurities, emergency response and empowering young mothers through mentoring and providing other resource support.
